If you haven’t heard yet, hemp oil can be pretty damn useful for a lot of things. It isn’t quite the cure-all solution that some sensationalist headlines would like you to believe it is, but incorporating it into your diet and hygiene practices usually only brings positive results. Hair care for example. A lot of people think it’s all about the CBD in hemp oil but when it comes to taking care of your hair it’s actually the properties of the oil itself which makes hemp oil so perfect. If you’re confused wondering how to use hemp oil on your hair, here’s a few different options.
Hemp Oil Hair Massage
This is definitely the simplest and most direct way to try out the effects of hemp oil on your hair if you’re skeptical at first. Generally though there are much better ways to incorporate along with other great natural ingredients. First you have to make sure your hair is ready to be oiled which means you have to comb it out nicely to avoid tangles. Part your hair in two sections from the middle then simply apply a tablespoon of hemp oil to your roots and scalp. Now it’s called a massage because you have to massage the oil further into your hair’s roots with your fingers. Rubbing it in helps the hair absorb the oil and stimulates your scalp so that it absorbs more oil too. Do this for both parted sections of your hair and make sure the oil covers all your hair, add more if you need to. Once you’ve massaged it in all over, leave it for at least half an hour, but doing it overnight would be optimal.
How To Use Hemp Oil With Other Natural, Healthy Ingredients
If you’re gonna slap some hemp oil into your hair, why not add a banana or an avocado to the fun too? You can make a ‘hair mask’ out of either of these ingredients. Generally you want to use one banana or one avocado along with 3 or 4 tablespoons of hemp oil. This can be adjusted of course depending on how much or how little hair you have. Just blend the ingredients together until smooth then section your hair as if you were dying it. Apply the mask to each section of your hair and leave it on for half an hour at least. Do this once a week and see the results for yourself!
